This service is operated by Deverse Media LLC.

1. Introduction

Deverse Media LLC ("Deverse Media," "we," "our," or "us") operates TryStatus at trystatus.app. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Deverse Media LLC collects information in order to operate TryStatus and deliver repair and service updates, including:

  • Account information: username, email address, and password (stored in hashed form).
  • Workspace and job data: business name, job titles or descriptions, internal notes, and related information you enter about repair or service jobs.
  • Customer contact details: customer names, phone numbers, and email addresses that you provide so we can send job status updates and links.
  • Message and delivery metadata: limited information about messages sent through the Service (such as timestamps, delivery status, and message type), which helps us operate and troubleshoot the Service. We do not read or analyze message content for advertising.
  • Billing information: payment-related details are processed by our payment processor (such as Stripe); we do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Usage and analytics: information about how you use the Service (for example, pages visited, actions taken, approximate location based on IP, device/browser information) that we may collect via analytics tools (such as Aptabase) to understand and improve the product.

3. How We Use Information

Deverse Media LLC uses the information we collect to provide, operate, and improve the Service, including to:

  • Create and manage your TryStatus account and workspaces.
  • Allow you to create jobs, update their status, and generate live tracking pages for your customers.
  • Send job status notifications (including SMS and email) to the customer contact details you provide.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the Service, including message delivery and performance.
  • Analyze usage to improve and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. SMS Data and Third-Party Messaging

When you provide a customer phone number, we use third-party messaging providers such as Twilio to send SMS messages containing job status links and service notifications. These providers process phone numbers, message content, and delivery metadata in order to route and deliver messages, subject to their own privacy policies.

Phone numbers collected through TryStatus are used solely to deliver repair or service-related notifications and to operate the platform (for example, to monitor delivery and prevent abuse). We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Users who provide their phone number may receive SMS updates related to their service request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Users can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and to improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services such as hosting (e.g., Vercel), database (e.g., Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), SMS and messaging (e.g., Twilio), and analytics. These providers may collect or process data as needed to provide their services to us and as described in their respective privacy policies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may also retain certain aggregated or anonymized information that does not identify you. You may request deletion of your account and associated data; we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our procedures and applicable law.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limited access to production systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

9. Your Rights
