Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using TryStatus ("Service") at trystatus.app, you agree to these Terms of Service with Deverse Media LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). TryStatus is a product of Deverse Media LLC. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS updates regarding your service request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

3. Description of Service

Deverse Media LLC provides TryStatus: web-based tools that allow service businesses (for example, auto repair shops, device repair shops, and other service providers) to create and share live job status pages with their customers. The Service enables you to record and update the status of repair or service jobs, generate tracking links, and send notifications to customers, including SMS (text message) notifications, about the progress of those jobs.

4. Your Account and Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and use the Service in compliance with applicable laws. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that business.

If you use TryStatus to send SMS or other communications to customers, you are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining all required consents and permissions from recipients before sending messages.
• Ensuring that customer contact information (including phone numbers and email addresses) is accurate and up to date.
• Complying with all applicable telecommunications, privacy, and consumer protection laws and guidelines, including without limitation the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA guidelines, carrier rules, and any similar laws or rules in the jurisdictions where you and your customers are located.

5. SMS / Text Messaging and Additional Terms

When you provide a customer phone number, Deverse Media LLC may send one or more SMS messages containing a job status link or other service-related notifications via our messaging provider (such as Twilio). By using this feature, you represent that you have the recipient's consent to receive such messages, or that consent is not required under applicable law. You agree to comply with all applicable messaging and telemarketing laws (e.g., TCPA in the United States) and any carrier or industry guidelines that apply to your use.

SMS messages sent through TryStatus are intended to be transactional and related to the repair or service jobs you manage (for example, "your vehicle is ready for pickup" or "your device has moved to the next stage in the process"). Message frequency will vary based on how often you update job statuses. Message and data rates may apply for recipients.

Recipients may typically reply STOP to opt out of further SMS notifications related to that phone number, and may reply HELP for basic assistance information. You are responsible for honoring opt-out requests and ensuring that your use of the Service respects customer preferences and legal requirements.

By providing your phone number to a participating service business, you consent to receive SMS notifications regarding the status of your repair or service job. Reply STOP to opt out. Message & data rates may apply.

6. Payments and Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You agree to pay all fees for your selected plan. Subscription fees are charged in advance (e.g., monthly). Refunds are handled according to our billing policy and applicable law.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to send spam, harass anyone, or violate any law. You may not reverse engineer, overload, or abuse our systems. Without limiting the foregoing, you must not use TryStatus to:

• Send unsolicited marketing or promotional messages.
• Send messages that are deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading.
• Engage in illegal, abusive, or harassing messaging practices.
• Violate telecommunications regulations, carrier policies, CTIA guidelines, or industry codes of conduct.

Deverse Media LLC may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe that your use violates these Terms, applicable law, or messaging regulations, or creates a risk of harm to us, our infrastructure, our messaging providers, or others.

8. Data Ownership

As between you and Deverse Media LLC, you retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service, including your customer information, job details, and related content ("Customer Data"). You grant Deverse Media LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, display, and otherwise process Customer Data solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

9. Termination and Suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time. Deverse Media LLC may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably believe your use violates applicable law or messaging regulations, or if your use poses a security, operational, or reputational risk to Deverse Media LLC, our providers, or other users. Where practicable, we will provide you with notice before suspension or termination.

10. Disclaimer and Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is." Deverse Media LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

Deverse Media LLC's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes

Deverse Media LLC may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
